Job summary

Envisioneering, Inc. is seeking a Systems Engineer to support the Office of Naval Research in managing and executing its cutting-edge Science and Technology portfolios.

The role bridges advanced engineering with program management, delivering technical assistance, systems engineering, and transition strategies for naval space programs. Ideal candidates hold a TS clearance with 5+ years of SE/TA experience in DoD environments and a strong background in space systems, SDLC, and collaboration

Qualifications

• Current TOP SECRET Clearance and eligibility for SCI.
• 5+ years of active SETA or programmatic support to DoD R&D/S&T.
• Background in space systems, satellites, or space-based sensors.
• Understanding of SDLC and military R&D environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist ONR Program Officers in developing S&T strategies, roadmaps, and SOWs.
• Track milestone schedules and evaluate contractor performance.
• Support system integration, evaluations, and optimization tasks.
• Analyze requirements and transition pathways for space technologies.
• Engage SBIR/STTR, VC, and IRAD portfolios and coordinate reviews.
• Develop briefings and presentations for leadership.
