Job summary

Insight Global is seeking a Submarine Systems Engineer to support NSWCDD in Norfolk, VA. The role focuses on ensuring submarine systems communicate and operate together, with emphasis on signals and electronic warfare within Navy submarine fleet lifecycles.

Ideal candidates have 8+ years in COE/EW, C4ISR system experience, TS/SCI clearance, RF principles, and Linux proficiency, with TS polyformer Navy experience being a plus.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintaining and developing C4ISR systems.
• Active TS/SCI Clearance.
• Deep understanding of radio frequency engineering aboard Navy vessels.

Job description

Insight Global is seeking a Submarine Systems Engineer to support the Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren Division (NSWCDD) in Norfolk, VA. This team performs advanced research, development, and systems engineering to ensure warfighter superiority across training systems, cyber warfare, fleet readiness, and sustainment solutions for the U.S. Navy - specifically supporting Submarine Fleet systems across their full lifecycle. This candidate will be responsible for ensuring submarine systems are working and communicating together, especially in situations involving signals and electronic warfare. The schedule for this position is Monday through Friday, 8 am -5 pm, with a flexible start time.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

Minimum of 8 years of experience supporting Contemporary Operational Environments (COE) or Electronic Warfare (EW) programs.

Experience in maintaining and developing C4ISR systems.

Active TS/SCI Clearance

Deep understanding of radio frequency (RF) engineering principles aboard Navy vessels.

Highly experienced in working with Linux.
