Allianz Commercial is seeking an Executive Underwriter for Natural Resources. Hybrid role based in the United States with options in San Francisco, New York, Houston, Chicago, or Alpharetta. You will manage profitable new and renewal business within the unit risk appetite.

Ideal candidates bring 7+ years in National Resources underwriting, strong broker relationships, data analysis skills, and proficiency in Excel/PowerPoint. A bachelor’s degree and professional qualifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in National Resources underwriting.
• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Business Administration, Finance or Economics preferred.
• Professional insurance qualification is a plus.
• Ability to analyze complex data from multiple sources.

Responsabilités

• Underwriting new and renewal business including negotiating price, terms and conditions with brokers.
• Drive marketing initiatives and build strong broker relationships through service and knowledge.
• Collaborate with Risk Consultants, Product Development and Claims to develop client solutions.
• Drive and participate in key projects affecting results and profitability.
• Assist in developing team members and mentor junior underwriters.
