Targa Resources is seeking a Sr Gas Marketing Representative to lead term and daily natural gas marketing activities from our Downtown Houston office. You will optimize flow paths, pricing, and commercial outcomes for operating assets, while coordinating across regions.

The role requires 5+ years in natural gas marketing/trading and strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills to drive profitability and asset value in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.
• 5+ years natural gas marketing, trading, or related experience.
• 3+ years natural gas scheduling, transportation, or operations experience.
• Knowledge of physical and financial natural gas trading and hedging.
• Ability to develop and execute profitable commercial strategies.
• Strong communication and stakeholder influence abilities.
• Independent working style with sound commercial judgement.

Responsabilités

• Lead term and daily natural gas marketing and trading activities for operating assets.
• Manage and optimize natural gas supply, transportation, and sales portfolios.
• Monitor market fundamentals, pricing dynamics, pipeline constraints, and regulatory developments.
• Negotiate and execute natural gas purchases, sales, and transportation agreements.
• Build and expand strategic relationships with producers, utilities, pipelines, and other market participants.
• Collaborate with Operations, Scheduling, Business Development, Risk Management, Accounting, and Executive Management.
• Provide commercial leadership across multiple trading regions (Permian, Oklahoma, Gulf Coast, etc).
• Prepare and present market intelligence and portfolio performance analyses.
• Support long-term growth initiatives and market development.
• Other duties as assigned.
