Job summary

Amazon Web Services, Inc. seeks a Business Development/Capture Manager for the US NatSec Federal Strategic Pursuits to build multi-year pipelines and lead proposals for government customers and AWS partners. You will work with NatSec Sales teams to drive growth, shape strategy, and win large cloud opportunities.

The role requires US citizenship and an active TS/SCI with polygraph. You will collaborate with field sales, engineers, and partners to translate complex requirements into compelling win

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Go-To-Market, Business Development, Sales, or Consulting experience.
• 5+ years of professional or military experience.
• 5+ years of developing, negotiating and executing business agreements.
• 5+ years of working with Data & AI related technologies (AI/ML, GenAI, Analytics, Database, Storage).
• Bachelor's degree.
• Experience influencing leadership decisions at the organizational level.
• Experience selling enterprise software or cloud-based applications.
• Experience presenting to executive audiences.
• Experience leading cross-functional, multi-year initiatives.
• 5+ years of responding to RFPs.
• Ability to deliver rapid, high-quality results with minimal guidance.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business or equivalent.
• Proven ability to win IT services or solutions awards $50M+ in US NatSec.
• Active TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a multi-year pipeline of cloud opportunities for NatSec customers.
• Lead proposal development for Government customers and AWS partners.
• Drive growth through identification, qualification, capture, proposal and award of NatSec opportunities.
• Engage with internal AWS teams, partners, and customers across technical and business talks.
• Support account managers and solution architects in cloud solution development and differentiators.
• Manage full capture lifecycle for large contracts.
