Job summary

Evlo AI is seeking an experienced mobile engineer to own end-to-end development, performance, and scaling of native apps reaching millions of daily users. You will collaborate with product, UX, and backend teams to build fast, accessible interfaces on iOS and Android.

The role requires 3–6 years of native mobile experience, deep knowledge of Swift/Kotlin, and strong architecture understanding. A strong candidate will contribute to CI/CD pipelines and testing strategies, ensuring high-quality

Qualifications

• 3–6 years of professional software development with at least 3 years on native mobile platforms.
• Proficiency in Swift and SwiftUI, or Kotlin and Jetpack Compose, with published apps on App Store or Google Play.
• Deep understanding of mobile architectures such as MVVM, MVI, or Clean Architecture, and reactive frameworks like Combine or Coroutines/Flow.
• Experience integrating RESTful APIs, GraphQL endpoints, offline caching, and third-party SDKs.
• BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Bonus: Cross-platform frameworks like React Native or Flutter, mobile security, or open-source contributions.

Responsibilities

• Design and build advanced native applications for iOS and Android using Swift, Objective-C, Kotlin, and Java.
• Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and backend teams to ship features within two-week sprints.
• Identify and fix bottlenecks, bugs, and performance issues using profiling, instruments, and crash reporting.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines (Fastlane, Bitrise, GitHub Actions) for automated testing and app store distribution.
• Write unit and UI tests to ensure robustness across devices.
• Continuously discover and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency and user experience.
