Job summary

Cognizant is seeking a Senior Native iOS Developer for a remote role based in Bentonville, AR. You will design, develop, test, and deliver scalable iOS applications using Swift, working with cross-functional teams including program managers and QA.

The role emphasizes clean architecture, unit testing, and production readiness in a dynamic project environment. Ideal candidates bring 6–8 years of iOS experience, strong Swift skills, and a track record with MVC/MVVM and testing.

• 6 to 8 years of professional experience developing native iOS applications.
• Strong proficiency in Swift and the native iOS development ecosystem.
• Hands-on experience applying MVC and/or MVVM architecture patterns.
• Experience developing unit tests and delivering code that meets defined quality and coverage standards.
• Ability to analyze business requirements and translate them into effective technical solutions.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to lead technical discussions and collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders.

• Implement appropriate application monitoring solutions based on client and project requirements.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including application designs and service specifications, while guiding developers in preparing functional and technical specifications.

About the role

As a Senior Native iOS Developer, you will make an impact by designing, developing, testing, and delivering reliable native iOS applications that address business and client requirements. You will be a valued member of the application development team and work collaboratively with technical program managers, technical leads, developers, quality engineering teams, and other stakeholders.

Salary and Other Compensation:

The annual salary for this position is between $68,000 - $110,000 depending on experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

This position is also eligible for Cognizant’s discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant’s applicable plans.
