Job summary

Responsibilities

• Serve as a technical expert within the FAA on NAS systems, services and TOCC operations.
• Lead SDM, prioritization of NAS services with Air Traffic, commercial airlines and general aviation aircraft.
• Develop new concepts, systems, and innovative approaches to resolve highly complex NAS issues across organizations.
• Monitor service delivery and NAS operations through automated remote monitoring and observation, identifying faults or service degradation.
• Provide leadership for highly complex technical activities; act as senior project manager or team leader for large, challenging work.
• Coordinate with FAA and external entities to shut down and restore facilities, systems and services to prevent disruptions to air traffic operations.
