Job summary

Mars is seeking a Senior Manager to lead North America Controllership Integration, partnering with Finance, Digital Technologies and Transformation teams to implement future-state processes, systems and controls.

This project-based role has a planned end date in Q2 2028, with potential internal mobility as opportunities emerge within the Mars family. Strong leadership in technical accounting and cross-functional collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance required; Master's degree preferred.
• CPA or other professional certification preferred.
• 10+ years of accounting or financial audit experience required.
• Consumer Product Goods industry experience required.
• Experience leading teams.
• Expertise in technical accounting and financial processes.
• Scale and complexity in CPG industry.
• Proficiency presenting to senior finance leaders.

Responsibilities

• Drive the regional implementation of one set of financials initiatives.
• CFIN end-to-end deployment across North America, aligning processes and controls for go-live.
• Support the acceleration of the regional close process.
• Help convert Kellanova’s financial calendar to Mars' 13-period structure.
• Implement accounting policy harmonization based on Mars and Kellanova differences.
• Define approach for enabling brand financials reporting and standup capabilities.
• Assist restatement of FY26 per Global instructions.
• Support Anaplan implementation for joint planning and forecasting.
• Drive pushdown of Day-1 fair value and PPA adjustments under Purchase Accounting.
• Lead Intercompany alignment within the region; evaluate requests and ensure proper cross-charging and eliminations.
• Manage migration of controllership activities from legacy tools to future-state platforms.
