Job summary

Santander is seeking a VP level Murex Application Developer in the United States to lead design, development, and ongoing support of the Murex MX.3 platform for CIB Global Markets. You will collaborate with Global Markets, Risk, Finance, and Operations to drive scalable, compliant solutions and ensure platform stability.

Qualifications

5+ years of Information Technology or Capital Markets Technology experience.
3+ years of hands-on experience implementing, configuring, developing, and supporting Murex MX.3.

Responsibilities

Lead architecture, design, development, and support of strategic Murex MX.3 initiatives.
Own delivery of enhancements across Front Office to Back Office domains.
Design and configure Murex components including workflows, pricing, simulation, and reporting.
Partner with Trading, Risk, Finance, and Operations to translate requirements into scalable solutions.
Lead platform upgrades, migrations, and production releases with Murex Professional Services.
Drive resiliency, performance, and incident resolution across platforms.
Establish engineering standards and mentor developers.
