Job summary

ITT Inc. seeks a detail-oriented Application Engineer to support our Municipal business. The role leverages pumps, hydraulics, and municipal water/wastewater systems to assist with pump selections, scope of supply development, specification and P&ID reviews, and use of Goulds Pumps quoting software.

While primarily supporting distributors, the role may quote customers directly. The successful candidate will collaborate with internal teams, customers, and vendors to develop proposals and

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Industrial Distribution, or a related technical field.
• 10+ years experience with rotating equipment, preferably centrifugal pumps.
• Knowledge of municipal water and wastewater systems and tender processes.

Responsibilities

• Review customer specifications, P&ID’s, and tender documents to prepare proposals.
• Select optimal centrifugal pump configurations using proprietary software.
• Generate scope of supply documentation and submit orders accurately.
• Provide technical support to distributors and customers and respond to inquiries promptly.
• Interface with external vendors to obtain quotes for auxiliary equipment.
• Process and manage orders from quote to delivery.
• Serve as liaison between distributors/customers and internal operations teams.
• Participate in sales calls and pre-award meetings to support strategy.
