Job summary

Boswell seeks a Project Manager with a Licensed Professional Engineer and municipal engineering experience for our New Jersey offices in South Hackensack or Chester. You will lead and mentor a team of project managers, design engineers, drafters, and support staff while delivering municipal projects on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional work experience as Municipal Engineer and Project Manager.
• Current licensed PE Certification in New Jersey is required.
• Proven track-record of developing, mentoring and leading professional engineers.
• Strong proficiency in local, county and state regulations governing municipal work as well as zoning and planning board processes.

Responsibilities

• Attend Municipal Governing Body meetings as required.
• Be familiar with Municipal Code when reviewing Development Applications.
• Prepare reports for Municipal Land Use Boards and attend meetings.
• Proficient in stormwater management and erosion control standards.
• Analyze sketches, specifications, and data for reviews.
• Coordinate activities related to technical developments, scheduling, and design issues.
• Attend project meetings with clients and prepare monthly status reports.
• Prepare project proposals, establish budgets and construction cost estimates.
• Ensure assignments are completed on schedule and within budget.
• Support marketing to retain and attract clients.
• Bill projects timely and help collect invoices.
