Job summary

Boswell in New Jersey seeks a New Project Manager in Municipal Engineering with NJ PE license to lead and manage municipal engineering projects from our South Hackensack or Chester offices.

This role involves reviewing codes, attending meetings, preparing reports, budgets, and proposals, and coordinating with stakeholders while mentoring engineers.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of professional work experience in Municipal Engineering and Project Management.
• Current licensed PE Certification in New Jersey is required.

Responsibilities

• Attend Municipal Governing Body meetings as required.
• Prepare reports for Municipal Land Use Boards and attend Land Use Board meetings.
• Coordinate activities related to technical developments, scheduling, and resolving engineering design and construction issues.
• Prepare monthly status reports on projects and ensure completion on schedule and within budget.
• Assist with project budgets, proposals, and day-to-day paperwork to move projects forward.
