Job summary

Artheon in New Jersey is seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead municipal infrastructure projects from proposal through closeout, coordinating with public officials, utilities, and regulatory authorities.

The ideal candidate will hold a Civil Engineering degree, a NJ PE license (or reciprocity), and 8–15+ years of municipal engineering and project management experience, delivering on time and within budget while building lasting client relationships across public sector clients.

Qualifications

• Requirement: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering and PE license (NJ or reciprocity).
• 8–15+ years of progressive municipal engineering and project management experience.
• Experience coordinating with NJDOT/NJDEP and local authorities.

Responsibilities

• Lead multiple municipal infrastructure projects from proposal to closeout.
• Serve as primary liaison with municipal officials, utilities, and regulators.
• Prepare scopes, budgets, schedules, and staffing plans.
• Review plans, cost estimates, and bid documents for quality and compliance.
• Oversee roadway, drainage, utilities, ADA, and streetscape projects.
• Coordinate with NJDEP, NJDOT, counties, and permitting authorities.
• Manage consultant teams and field staff; mentor junior engineers.
• Support business development and client presentations.
