Job summary

Artheon is seeking a Senior Program Manager for Municipal Engineering to lead collaboration between Albany and New Jersey offices and expand municipal services across the Capital Region. The role combines leadership, client relationship management, and team development.

The ideal candidate will bring civil/city engineering experience, PE licensure, and a track record of growing municipal programs while implementing consistent processes and best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• NY/ NJ PE licensure or willing to pursue reciprocal licensure.
• 7–15 years of municipal/civil engineering or program management experience.
• Experience working with municipalities or public agencies.
• Leadership across multiple offices and technical teams.

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary connection between Albany and New Jersey offices, promoting collaboration and consistent project delivery.
• Build trusted relationships with municipal clients, local agencies, internal teams, and firm leadership.
• Develop understanding of Albany office's clients, projects, services, and workflows.
• Identify opportunities to expand municipal engineering services (inspection, transportation, water resources, environmental, civil).
• Support business development and growth of existing and new municipal opportunities.
• Lead and mentor a growing local team and expand as the office grows.
• Support firm-wide processes, quality standards, and project reviews.
• Coordinate resources across multiple offices to ensure successful project execution.
• Monitor project performance, utilization, staffing, and resource needs.
• Represent Artheon professionally within the local municipal engineering community.
