Job summary

TEC Engineering, Inc. is seeking a municipal engineer to lead day-to-day tasks in wastewater treatment, stormwater management, water supply and project management. You will develop project plans and supervise design for a wide range of municipal improvements.

Responsibilities include street design studies, maintaining city-wide maps and thoroughfare plans, applying traffic engineering principles to signals, signs and maintenance, and conducting field reviews and site visits. A B.S.

Qualifications

• B.S. in Civil Engineering required.
• Continuing education and certifications paid for by TEC.
• 10 years of on-the-job experience in municipal engineering.

Responsibilities

• Develop project plans and supervise design.
• Design and oversee municipal improvement projects.
• Conduct street design studies.
• Evaluate necessity of new streets and modify existing streets.
• Maintain city-wide maps and thoroughfare plan.
• Apply traffic engineering principles to signals, signs, lights, and maintenance.
• Maintain databases as directed by project managers.
• Research, write and edit technical reports and business correspondence.
• Provide field engineering support and site visits.
