Job summary

Ardurra is seeking a Municipal Engineer for its Morganville, NJ office. The role oversees municipal infrastructure projects and reports to the Municipal Service Department Head.

Candidates should have 5–8 years of civil engineering experience and a PE license. Responsibilities include managing projects for municipalities and school districts, designing transportation and utility systems, and coordinating with clients to meet project goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited program or equivalent.
• PE license required.
• 5-8 years of related work experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as project manager for municipalities or public agencies and be the single point of contact with the client.
• Develop or implement engineering solutions for infrastructure improvements.
• Design transportation, utilities, facilities, or hydraulic systems using CAD tools.
• Estimate quantities and costs for materials and labor.
• Analyze survey data and topographic information to support designs.
• Attend public meetings as Municipal Engineer or Land Use Board Engineer and present reports.
