Job summary

Jobot is seeking an experienced Municipal Engineer in Illinois to serve as a technical leader, mentor developing staff, and help drive expansion within the Illinois market. The role offers hybrid work and exposure to municipal, transportation, utility, and infrastructure projects.

You will manage projects, collaborate with public-sector clients, and leverage Civil 3D, OpenRoads, and Bentley tools. A PE license and 10-15+ years in municipal/civil engineering are required, with strong project

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required.
• Professional Engineer license required or ability to obtain through reciprocity.
• 10-15+ years of municipal, civil, transportation, or infrastructure engineering experience.
• Experience managing municipal utility, roadway, drainage, and site development projects.
• Strong project management and client relationship skills.
• Proficiency with Civil 3D, OpenRoads Designer, Bentley CONNECT or similar.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design and project delivery for municipal projects.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to office growth.
• Coordinate with public-sector clients and stakeholders.
