Job summary

A leading engineering consulting firm is seeking a Senior Municipal Engineer to manage and grow municipal services in Minnesota and North Dakota. This role requires a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering with over 10 years of experience. Responsibilities include managing client relationships, mentoring project engineers, and overseeing project pursuit efforts. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, professional organization involvement, and a valid driver’s license. Salary range is competitive, between $125k - $175k.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of municipal engineering experience, with 7+ years in project management.
• Licensed engineer in MN and/or ND.
• Experience in municipal engineering and public works/utilities.
• Familiarity with public agencies in MN and/or ND.
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills required.

Responsibilities

• Manage client relationships and discuss project opportunities.
• Maintain strategic partnerships for quality service delivery.
• Coordinate with other sector leaders on staffing.
• Oversee project pursuit efforts and recruitment of key staff.
• Present financial and progress reports to the Municipal Sector Leader.
