This full-time role targets a mid-level civil engineer with roughly 7–10 years in municipal design and project management, offering growth opportunities within a fast-growing firm. Responsibilities include leading projects from planning through construction, designing components using Civil 3D, preparing reports and cost estimates, and maintaining client relationships.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in civil engineering with municipal/transportation emphasis
• 7–10 years of civil/municipal engineering experience including design and project management
• Registered Professional Engineer in Wisconsin
• Proficiency with Civil 3D and AutoCAD
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work in a team and independently
• Authorized to work in the United States (no visa sponsorship)

Responsibilities

• Lead municipal projects from planning through construction
• Design municipal/civil components: sanitary sewer, watermain, storm sewer, roads, site infrastructure
• Develop plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D and prepare specifications
• Oversee design reports, cost estimates, and permitting documents
• Manage projects including scheduling and budgeting, and client communications
• Mentor engineers, technicians, and designers on the team
• Assist with proposals, scope development, and fee estimates
• Oversee construction administration activities including bidding and project closeout
