Job summary

SEI is seeking a Municipal Bond Credit Analyst to join the Fixed Income Team in Oaks, PA. The role focuses on investment‑grade municipal credits with selective high‑yield coverage, developing independent credit opinions and portfolio‑level insights.

You will translate issuer‑level analysis into actionable investment ideas and communicate findings through written research and portfolio reviews, collaborating with PMs and senior leaders.

Qualifications

• Experience conducting fundamental credit research in municipal markets.
• Ability to develop independent credit opinions and investment theses.
• Strong written communication for research and portfolio discussions.

Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough fundamental credit analysis of municipal issuers and securities.
• Evaluate new-issue and secondary-market municipal bonds and provide buy/hold/sell recommendations.
• Establish and maintain internal credit ratings and investment theses.
• Analyze financial statements, budgets, revenue trends, and debt profiles.
• Assess macro developments affecting issuers and sectors.
• Perform downside analysis and scenario testing.
