Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an accredited college or university.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in the United States.
• 10+ years of progressive civil engineering experience with municipal infrastructure.
• Experience with plan and specification development and construction contract administration.
• Experience in municipal business development and building strong client relationships.
• Experience conducting community meetings and stakeholder communication.
• Previous supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee municipal engineering projects, including scope, budget, schedule and performance.
• Serve as the primary client contact and support business development efforts (RFPs, proposals, presentations).
• Provide technical advice regarding design, construction or modification and repairs to clients, contractors and staff.
• Approve and present preliminary reports and feasibility studies.
• Maintain relationships with regulatory agencies.
• Coordinate construction administration and monitor documentation requirements with field staff.
• Travel to work sites and other project locations, as necessary.
