Responsibilities

• Act as the project manager for one or more municipalities or other public agencies.
• Develop or implement engineering solutions to assist clients with infrastructure improvements.
• Design transportation, utility, facility, or hydraulic systems using CAD/drawing tools.
• Compute load, water flow rates, or material stress factors to determine design specifications.
• Estimate quantities and cost of materials, equipment, or labor for feasibility.
• Analyze survey data, maps, drawings, and topographical data.
• Conduct studies of traffic patterns or environmental conditions to identify problems.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, safety, and governmental regulations.
• Identify environmental risks and develop risk management strategies.
• Attend public meetings and present reports on bid proposals, project status, and reviews.
• Provide technical advice on design, construction, or capital program modifications.
• Support field activities of construction inspection staff.
