Job summary

City of San Antonio seeks an administrative leader to coordinate the Office of Management and Budget division, prepare the Five Year Financial Forecast, and manage annual operating and capital budgets. You will supervise staff, guide organizational planning, and coordinate interdepartmental projects to improve resource utilization and policy compliance.

This is an unclassified, at-will position with standard hours and occasional evenings; work location is City Tower, 8th Floor, San Antonio, TX

Qualifications

• Requires knowledge of municipal budget preparation and administration.
• Experience in governmental budgeting and performance review.
• Ability to coordinate cross-departmental projects and staff.

Responsibilities

• Plans, directs, and evaluates the work of assigned staff.
• Manages development and administration of operating and capital budgets and five-year forecast.
• Coordinates budgets, reports, and presentations for City Council action.
• Monitors revenues and expenditures to ensure compliance with adopted budgets.
• Coordinates and prepares the Annual Budget Document and related reports.
• Performs related duties as required.
