Syms Strategic Group (SSG) is seeking a Software Testing Principal (MUMPS) to lead testing efforts for mission-critical healthcare applications in a remote U.S.-based role. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a relevant field.
• 10+ years of software testing, QA, or system validation experience
• Experience testing in MUMPS/InterSystems Cache environments
• U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance
• Experience in healthcare/government regulated environments

Responsibilities

• Support testing and QA for mission-critical healthcare apps in MUMPS/InterSystems Cache environments
• Develop and execute test plans, cases, scripts and procedures
• Validate enhancements, releases, and defect fixes
• Perform functional, integration, regression, and UAT testing
• Verify data integrity across legacy healthcare systems
• Test HL7, FHIR, EDI and related healthcare standards
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and testers to align requirements
• Create testing data and environments for healthcare workflows
• Lead testing activities and mentor junior testers
• Produce testing metrics, dashboards and status reports
• Support root cause analysis and production troubleshooting
• Review requirements and ensure testability and coverage
• Drive continuous improvement in testing processes
