Qualifications

• Five or more years of full-cycle payroll experience, including supervising others.
• Multi-state payroll experience with state tax registrations and reciprocity rules.
• Working knowledge of FLSA, overtime calculation, and wage-payment rules.
• Hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now and strong Excel skills (pivot tables, lookups).
• Demonstrated accuracy under deadline and handling confidential compensation data.

Responsibilities

• Run the full weekly payroll cycle for ~1,000 employees across 36 states.
• Audit gross-to-net results, overtime, per diems, and retroactive pay before release.
• Ensure compliance with wage-and-hour rules and payroll taxes in new jurisdictions.
• Supervise payroll team, set turnaround standards, and manage pay disputes.
