Job summary

Mercor is seeking a Senior Multiline Claims Examiner for remote contract work. You will apply your claims experience across property, auto, general liability, and other lines, from intake to resolution, under rolling review.

Start date is immediate; work 20–40 hours per week, paid hourly. You will craft documentation, assess coverage, and provide feedback to improve model performance.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of professional P&C claims handling, adjusting, or examining experience.
• Independently handled claims in at least one area (property, auto physical damage, BI, GL, etc).
• Understand the claim lifecycle from intake through closure.
• Read and apply policy language to facts, escalating when needed.

Responsibilities

• Design realistic claims scenarios covering loss, verification, investigation, and settlement.
• Create work products such as claim action plans, coverage analyses, investigation requests, and settlement recommendations.
• Write high-quality, professional responses for insured communications.
• Grade AI-generated responses against rubrics for factual accuracy and policy application.
• Identify premature conclusions, missing steps, and improper communications.
• Provide written feedback to improve model behavior.
