Job summary

The Carlisle Group seeks a Senior Property Claims Examiner for a fully remote role with a highly profitable mutual insurer. The position focuses on reviewing and approving commercial & personal lines property claims, handling complex matters and reserves, and liaising with agents and attorneys.

Expectations include managing large claims from $250,000 to over $1,000,000, working independently, and supporting training for junior examiners. Remote work and weekend rotations may apply.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of Property/Casualty insurance experience.
• AIC preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as a team.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Review and approve property/casualty claims.
• Oversee complex property claim matters with independent judgment.
• Handle large property claims typically from $250,000 to $1,000,000 in loss.
• Review investigations, prepare reserves, evaluate liability and coverage issues.
• Attend depositions, pre-trial conferences and trials as needed.
• Provide excellent service to agents, insureds, independent adjusters and attorneys.
