Job summary

You will lead the maintenance team, manage service requests, perform preventative tasks, and coordinate with vendors. The role requires hands-on leadership, strong technical skills, and a focus on customer service while handling multiple priorities efficiently.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years’ experience in multifamily property maintenance.
• At least one year of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• EPA Universal or HVAC certification.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; PM software and Maintenance Ticketing System experience.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Customer service orientation with residents and vendors.
• On-call availability including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train maintenance staff to complete tasks on time.
• Diagnose and repair plumbing, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and appliances.
• Respond to resident service requests and close work orders.
• Oversee make-ready, inspections, vendor scheduling, and final checks.
• Keep common areas clean, safe, and visually appealing.
• Schedule in-house and third-party maintenance and vendor work.
• Perform monthly preventative maintenance per policies.
• Maintain inventory; order materials within budget.
• Ensure safety protocols and OSHA compliance.
• Inspect completed work for quality and compliance.
• Provide excellent customer service and address concerns.
• Identify cost-saving opportunities.
