Job summary

Pegasus Residential is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician for a multifamily community in Johns Creek, GA. The role requires hands-on HVAC troubleshooting, knowledge of plumbing and electrical systems, and the ability to service older assets.

You will handle resident requests, perform preventative maintenance, and participate in on-call rotations. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting skills, a valid driver's license, EPA certification preferred, and a proven track

Qualifications

• Strong hands-on HVAC troubleshooting, diagnostic, and repair experience.
• Experience maintaining older multifamily assets and aging building systems.
• Ability to independently diagnose issues and determine appropriate repairs.
• Professional communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain residential HVAC systems.
• Perform HVAC preventative maintenance and identify potential issues before larger repairs.
• Troubleshoot condensers, air handlers, thermostats, motors, capacitors, contactors, airflow issues.
• Complete resident service requests involving plumbing, electrical, appliances, carpentry, drywall, locks, and general maintenance.
• Assist with apartment turns and ensure vacant homes meet move-in ready standards.
• Identify recurring maintenance issues and recommend repair or replacement solutions.
• Conduct routine property inspections and address maintenance and safety concerns.
• Maintain tools, equipment, inventory, and maintenance records.
• Provide professional and responsive customer service to residents.
• Participate in rotating emergency on-call schedule.
• Support the service manager and onsite team with additional maintenance needs.
