Macdonald & Company in Atlanta, GA seeks a Senior Project Manager to lead ground-up multifamily developments from preconstruction through stabilization, working closely with ownership on strategy and execution.

The role emphasizes coordinating teams, managing budgets and schedules, and driving safety, quality, and on-time delivery across projects with limited travel. This position offers growth within a growing platform and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of ground-up construction experience.
• Strong track record delivering multifamily projects from preconstruction through completion.
• Strong understanding of budgeting, scheduling, contracts, and cost controls.
• Experience managing subcontractors, consultants, and construction teams.
• Podium, wrap, structured parking, or mixed-use experience is highly desirable.
• Affordable housing / LIHTC experience is a plus.
• Experience with platforms such as Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project, P6, or similar construction technology.

Responsibilities

• Leading ground-up multifamily projects from preconstruction through stabilization.
• Managing project budgets, schedules, contracts, procurement, and overall execution.
• Coordinating architects, engineers, consultants, municipalities, subcontractors, and field teams.
• Partnering closely with Superintendents to drive safety, quality, schedule, and budget.
• Reviewing pay applications, change orders, forecasts, and project reporting.
• Identifying and mitigating project risks throughout construction.
• Overseeing turnover, warranty, and transition to property management.
• Helping improve project management systems, reporting processes, and technology.
