Job summary

EEA Companies is seeking a Senior Asset Manager for its multifamily and student housing portfolio, overseeing financial and operational performance. The role partners with third-party managers, general contractors, lenders, and internal leadership to keep capital projects on budget and on schedule.

The ideal candidate has extensive multifamily asset management and CapEx experience, with preference for student housing exposure.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of real estate asset management experience
• Direct multifamily experience
• Construction management and CapEx project experience
• Ability to travel to properties
• Experience with third-party property management teams

Responsibilities

• Serve as primary internal asset management contact for multifamily and student housing assets across the portfolio
• Partner with third-party property management teams to meet operating budgets and occupancy goals
• Review monthly financial and operational reports and flag variances
• Monitor performance against underwriting assumptions and escalate risks or opportunities
• Lead owner-side capital improvement, renovation, and repositioning projects
• Support acquisitions and due diligence activities for investments
