Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred but not required.

The Opportunity

Reporting directly to the Senior Vice President of Asset Management, this is a highly visible role offering significant exposure to senior leadership, with an exceptional balance of mentorship, strategic responsibility, and autonomy.

The Senior Manager will oversee a portfolio of approximately 20 multifamily assets totaling 4,000 units across the Southern United States. The individual will play a key role in maximizing the financial and operational performance of the portfolio through the development and execution of short- and long-term asset business plans.

The role provides broad exposure across the organization and the opportunity to work closely with Property Management, Leasing, Acquisitions & Dispositions, Development, and Joint Venture Partners.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive business plans designed to maximize asset value and investment returns.
• Analyze property and portfolio performance, identifying opportunities to enhance operational and financial results.
• Partner with property management and leasing teams to establish and achieve performance objectives.
• Evaluate capital improvement initiatives, investment opportunities, and strategic recommendations.
• Monitor budgets, forecasts, operating performance, and key property metrics.
• Support acquisition and disposition activities, including underwriting, due diligence, and investment analysis.
• Prepare and present thoughtful, data-driven recommendations to senior leadership and investment partners.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to execute portfolio strategies and achieve business objectives.

The Ideal Candidate

• 7+ years of progressive real estate experience, preferably including multifamily and/or asset management.
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA preferred but not required.
• Prior exposure to real estate acquisitions strongly preferred.
• Exceptional analytical and quantitative capabilities.
• Strong financial and investment acumen with the ability to translate complex analysis into actionable recommendations.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the executive presence to present strategies and recommendations to senior leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, prioritize competing assignments, and maintain ownership of complex projects.
• Strong leadership and relationship-building skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple functions.
• High level of professionalism, judgment, initiative, and attention to detail.
