Job summary

Baralan seeks a US Senior Warehouse & Logistics Manager to own operations across NY, NJ, and Carson, CA. Based in New York with regular travel to Newark and CA site, you will drive consistency and efficiency across multiple facilities involved in ocean/air/land freight and import/export exposure.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of progressive experience in warehouse and logistics management, including multi-site oversight.
• Direct experience with ocean freight / import-export logistics (container shipments, customs, port operations) is required.
• Experience managing remote or distributed teams across multiple locations.
• Strong knowledge of WMS platforms, inventory management systems, and logistics/TMS software.

Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of day-to-day warehouse and logistics operations across NY, NJ (Newark), and Carson, CA facilities.
• Oversee inbound/outbound logistics, inventory accuracy, receiving, storage, order fulfillment, and shipping across all three locations.
• Manage and coordinate ocean freight / import-export logistics, including customs clearance, drayage, and port-to-warehouse logistics.
• Standardize processes, safety protocols, and performance metrics across all warehouses to ensure consistency.
• Travel regularly between New York and Newark facilities to provide on-site leadership and oversight; periodic trips to CA site.
• Monitor KPIs and customer service levels, addressing issues affecting on-time deliveries.
• Evaluate and manage third-party warehouse and logistics providers, ensuring service levels and cost efficiency.
