Job summary

Bozzuto is seeking a senior facilities maintenance leader in Washington, DC. You will guide maintenance staff, ensure high-quality building operations, and drive safety and efficiency across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliances.

The role requires 7+ years in facilities/residential maintenance, 3+ years supervising teams, and HVAC/EPA/NAPE certifications. Expect on-call coverage and collaboration with vendors to sustain property value and resident satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Experience leading maintenance teams in residential properties.
• HVAC, plumbing, electrical and appliance repair expertise.
• Certified HVAC EPA and/or NAPE; OSHA awareness.
• Strong communication and on-call availability.

Responsibilities

• Lead by example and uphold Bozzuto's core values.
• Hire, develop, and train techs and care associates.
• Address resident maintenance tickets with timely follow-up.
• Resolve HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and appliance issues.
• Manage make-ready and turnover to enable leasing.
• Oversee preventative maintenance programs.
• Ensure safety codes and 24/7 emergency coverage.
• Establish and manage vendor relationships.
• Lead capital projects within budget.
