Job summary

Carter Lumber Company seeks a Commercial Multi-Family Framing Install Manager to oversee development, coordination, and execution of large-scale framing projects. You will coordinate between corporate office, field leadership, and installation crews to ensure timely production and quality standards.

The role partners with Market VP/Market Manager to set strategic direction and requires strong communication with field teams and internal departments.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in commercial/multi-family construction or project management.
• Understanding of job site management processes and construction assembly.
• Safety procedures and practices knowledge; OSHA 30 preferred.
• Strong contract understanding incl. changes to build-out processes and schedules.
• Ability to analyze, report, and solve problems; read blueprints.
• Proficient with MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Willingness to travel to job sites; overnight travel may be needed.

Responsibilities

• Develops and implements policies for the region’s commercial or multi-family projects.
• Facilitates weekly field conference calls, records minutes, and conducts site visits.
• Recommends resolutions to avoid field issues and ensure safety and quality.
