Carter Lumber is seeking a Commercial Multi-Family Framing Install Manager to oversee large-scale framing installations. You will coordinate between corporate office, field leadership, and crews to ensure timely production and quality.

Role partners with Market VP/Manager to set strategic direction and drive program success. The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in commercial/multi-family construction, strong communication, and ability to travel to job sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in commercial or multi-family construction/project management.
• Solid understanding of Job Site Management processes and construction assembly.
• Understands and observes all safety procedures and practices.
• Strong understanding of contracts, changes to build out processes and schedules.
• Ability to analyze and provide recommendations to solve problems.

Responsabilités

• Develops and implements policies and procedures for regional multi-family projects.
• Facilitates weekly field conference calls and records minutes; conducts site visits.
• Recommends resolutions to avoid site issues and ensures safety guidelines are followed.
• Ensures stores and installers understand project policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Provides guidance to stores to properly execute projects.

The Commercial Multi‑Family Framing Install Manager oversees the development, coordination, and execution of all large‑scale multi‑family framing installation projects. Success in this role depends on maintaining strong communication channels between the corporate office, field leadership, and installation crews to ensure accurate, efficient, and timely production. This position partners closely with the Market VP and/or Market Manager to establish strategic direction for the multi‑family framing program. Consistent communication with field teams and internal departments is essential.A strong belief in the mission and goals of the company are necessary to this position.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of experience in commercial or multi‑family construction/project management
• Solid understanding of Job Site Management processes and construction assembly
• Understands and observes all safety procedures and practices
• Solid comprehension of all working aspects of contracts; including changes to build out processes and schedules
• Ability to analyze and provide recommendations to solve problems
• Ability to gather data, compile information, and prepare reports
• Effective oral and written communication skills
• Exceptional analytical and problem solving abilities
• Ability to read and comprehend blueprints
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
• Ability to travel to various job sites as needed; may include overnight travel
• OSHA 30 certification and equipment operation credentials preferred but not required

Responsibilities:

Program Development & Implementation

• Develops and implements the policies and procedures of the region’s commercial or multi‑family projects.
• Facilitates weekly conference calls with the field, records production meeting minutes and conducts job site visits when necessary.
• Recommends and troubleshoots needed resolutions to avoid job site issues in field.
• Ensures all stores and installers are aware of commercial or multi‑family project policies, procedures and safety guidelines that they must follow to meet quality and service standards.
• Provides guidance to stores so that the company can properly execute projects.

Training and Development

• Assists in developing and implementing training for all employees regarding the process, policies and direction of the commercial or multi‑family construction projects.
• Organizes schedules and coordinates training to ensure subcontractors are certified in product installations for the areas the company is focused on.
