Job summary

Space Systems Integration (SSI) in Chantilly, VA seeks an ISR Principal Modeling/Simulation Engineer to support the Space Warfighting Analysis Center (SWAC), the MDSP, and the ISRT Division. You will develop and execute space-based ISR models and analyses, using tools like AFSIM, STK, SOAP, and NGTS, and build scripts in VB, Python, and MATLAB.

The ideal candidate has extensive M&S experience, a deep understanding of space-based ISR operations, and the ability to coordinate across agencies.

Qualifications

• Experience developing complex space system models and simulations.
• Proficiency with industry-standard M&S tools (AFSIM, STK, SOAP, NGTS).
• Strong scripting/programming skills (VB, Python, MATLAB).
• Active Top Secret/SCI clearance with polygraph preferred.
• Extensive knowledge of space-based ISR systems and operations.

Responsibilities

• Develop space-based ISR models and corresponding trajectories.
• Create analysis scripts using VB, Python, or MATLAB.
• Integrate SWAC ISR capabilities with modeling and simulation.
• Coordinate internal/external M&S efforts and document findings.
• Provide recommendations on architectures based on results.
