Perdue Foods is seeking a Multi Craft Maintenance Technician to keep our complex plant operations running smoothly across departments. You will prevent issues, apply real-time problem solving, and promote a proactive, safety-focused maintenance culture.

This role offers a 2nd shift (Rotating 2-2-3, 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM) with opportunities to mentor peers and drive continuous improvement through hands-on technical expertise.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2-year technical degree in Engineering or Industrial Maintenance preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in industrial maintenance and repairs.
• Expert proficiency in hydraulics, mechanics, electrical, PLC, welding and rigging.
• Commitment to continuous learning and Perdue Farms QEW certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs extraordinarily complex technical tasks and decision-making.
• Demonstrates expert Maintenance Tech III proficiency within 10 months of hire.
• Shows strong knowledge of PLC troubleshooting and interaction with PLC hardware.
• Troubleshoots, maintains, and repairs complex machinery and control systems.
• Collaborates with production teams to solve problems with reliability and urgency.
• Conducts root cause analysis and drives cost-efficient improvements.
• Mentors lower-level technicians and provides hands-on training.
• Adheres to safety precautions and maintains records and reports.
