Job summary

RapidScale is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect in the United States to lead discovery, design hybrid and multi-cloud architectures, and translate client goals into practical, secure cloud solutions. You will work closely with sales to align offerings with business outcomes and mentor teams across hosted and public cloud services.

You will guide security/compliance across HIPAA, PCI, GDPR, ISO, and NIST, while staying current on cloud technologies and industry trends to drive client success.

Qualifications

• BA/BS Degree with 6+ years of experience, or MS with 4+ years, or PhD with 1 year, or 10 years total experience without a degree.
• Professional level Public Cloud Certification (AWS, Azure, Google)
• Demonstrated experience working in a sales-enabled environment
• Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery engagements with customers to uncover business goals, pain points, and drivers.
• Translate requirements into tailored, outcome-focused cloud and infrastructure solutions.
• Run workshops, whiteboarding sessions, and stakeholder interviews.
• Balance breadth and depth to align architecture with business outcomes.
