Job summary

RapidScale is seeking a Senior Solutions Architect to act as a strategic advisor, connecting multi-cloud technologies with client business needs. You will lead discovery, develop solutions, and coordinate with public cloud specialists while ensuring secure, compliant architectures across hosted and public clouds.

You will align with sales teams, present to stakeholders, and guide architecture discussions from discovery through hand-off, focusing on client outcomes and measurable business impact.

Qualifications

• BA/BS with 6+ years of experience, or an MS with 4+ years, or a Ph.D with one year, or 10 years total experience without a degree.
• Professional level public cloud certification (AWS, Azure, Google).
• Experience working in a sales context and with a sales team.
• Strong presentation, written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical discovery engagements with customers to uncover goals, pain points, and drivers.
• Translate requirements into tailored, outcome-focused cloud and infrastructure solutions.
• Run workshops, whiteboarding sessions, and stakeholder interviews.
• Balance breadth and depth, knowing when to deep-dive on architecture vs. focusing on business outcomes.
