Job summary

LE1000 Veradigm LLC in Raleigh, NC seeks a senior database architect to own architecture, implementation and reliability of Veradigm's database platform across engines and clouds. You will design end-to-end systems, lead 24x7 production reliability, and set direction for AI-augmented database operations.

You will work across SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Snowflake, and cloud services (AWS/Azure), ensuring HIPAA-aligned PHI protection and resilient backup strategies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; Master’s preferred.
• 10+ years relevant work experience; 2–3 years at Expert level or equivalent.
• ITIL Foundations and database certifications listed in the posting.

Responsibilities

• Determine database architecture for new business use cases, including engine selection and availability targets up to 99.99%.
• Design multi-cloud database infrastructure across AWS and Azure.
• Author and review infra-as-code (Terraform) for provisioning and lifecycle management.
• Oversee security, integrity, and performance of databases across production estate.
• Implement monitoring, observability, and alerting across all database systems.
• Lead complex performance triage and 911 response across teams.
• Provide technical leadership and delegate tasks for projects.
• Design, audit, and test high-availability and disaster-recovery architectures.
