Job summary

Veradigm LLC is seeking a Principal Database Engineer to own the database platform architecture, deployment, and reliability across multiple engines and cloud providers from Raleigh. You will drive end-to-end database system design, production readiness, and cross-team collaboration with engineering and product teams.

The role requires expert knowledge of SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Snowflake, and cloud services. It emphasizes security, performance, and scalable operations.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of multiple database engines (SQL Server, PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, DynamoDB, Snowflake).
• Experience designing highly available and disaster-resilient architectures (99.99%+).
• Automation and scripting for provisioning and lifecycle management.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture, implementation, reliability, and lifecycle of the database platform across engines and clouds.
• Lead 24x7 production support and major outages escalation.
• Design multi-cloud database infrastructure and HA/DR strategies across AWS/Azure.
