Job summary

Accenture’s North America MuleSoft practice seeks an experienced Senior Developer to translate business requirements into scalable APIs and integrations. You will guide development teams, review code, and mentor junior developers across the full software lifecycle.

You will design and implement APIs using Anypoint Platform, DataWeave, and Mule Runtime, while ensuring security, performance, and governance. Travel may be required based on client needs.

Qualifications

• MuleSoft Certified Developer Level 1 certification.
• Minimum of 5 years experience with OAuth, JWT, TLS, API security, test automation, logging, monitoring, exception handling, and performance or reliability troubleshooting.
• Minimum of 4 years of professional hands-on MuleSoft development experience with Anypoint Platform, Anypoint Studio, Mule Runtime, DataWeave, REST and SOAP services, MuleSoft connectors, scopes, components, and integration patterns.
• Minimum of 3 years experience implementing API-led connectivity and using Anypoint API Manager, Runtime Manager, MUnits, Design Center, Exchange, and Anypoint Monitoring.
• Minimum of 3 year/s experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, Agile delivery, and clear written and verbal communication.
• Minimum of 2 years experience deploying and maintaining integrations on MuleSoft CloudHub or Runtime Fabric (RTF) implementations.
• Minimum of 6 months experience with AI and GenAI tools for productivity, technical documentation, development acceleration, and well-structured prompting, including validation of AI-generated artifacts.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support reusable MuleSoft APIs and integrations following enterprise standards.
• Implement System, Process, and Experience APIs using Anypoint Platform and DataWeave.
• Create technical specs and support architecture/design reviews.
• Serve as a senior technical contributor; conduct code and peer reviews; mentor juniors.
• Develop automated unit and integration tests; ensure security and governance standards.
• Support CI/CD, releases, environment promotion, monitoring, logging, and incident resolution.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders and global delivery teams.
• Leverage AI/GenAI tools to accelerate development and validate outputs.
