Job summary

Accenture is seeking an experienced MuleSoft Senior Developer to design, build, and secure enterprise APIs and integrations across client projects. Lead teams, review code, mentor juniors, and participate in the full SDLC with a focus on scalability, security, and governance. Travel may be required.

The role requires deep MuleSoft expertise, strong API-led connectivity, and comfort working directly with clients and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience with OAuth, JWT, TLS, API security, test automation, logging, monitoring, exception handling, and performance or reliability troubleshooting.
• Minimum 4 years of hands-on MuleSoft development with Anypoint Platform, Anypoint Studio, Mule Runtime, DataWeave, REST and SOAP services, MuleSoft connectors, scopes, components, and integration patterns.
• Minimum 3 years with API-led connectivity and using Anypoint API Manager, Runtime Manager, MUnits, Design Center, Exchange, and Anypoint Monitoring.
• Minimum 3 years with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, Agile delivery, and clear written and verbal communication.
• Minimum 2 years deploying and maintaining integrations on MuleSoft CloudHub or Runtime Fabric.
• Minimum 6 months experience with AI/GenAI tools for productivity, documentation, development acceleration, and structured prompting.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience (12 years; 6 years if Associate's).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, deploy, and support reusable MuleSoft APIs and integrations following enterprise standards.
• Implement System APIs, Process APIs, and Experience APIs using Anypoint Platform, Anypoint Studio, Mule Runtime, DataWeave, connectors, modules, and platform services.
• Create technical specifications and support architecture/design reviews.
• Serve as a senior technical contributor, conduct code and peer reviews, and mentor junior developers.
• Develop automated unit and integration tests and ensure standards on security, documentation, quality and governance.
• Support CI/CD, releases, environment promotion, monitoring, logging, alerting, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and production incident resolution.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders, analysts, architects, Agile teams, and global delivery teams.
• Leverage AI/GenAI tools to accelerate development and documentation while validating AI-generated artifacts for quality and security.
