Job summary

Salesforce is seeking an Architect for MuleSoft to provide architectural leadership for scalable, globally distributed services. You will define the technical vision across engineering, product, security, and operations to deliver resilient, secure solutions.

This highly technical leadership role requires strong architectural judgment, deep cloud and container expertise, and the ability to influence multiple teams while aligning with Salesforce's standards and strategic goals.

Qualifications

• 10+ years designing and building large-scale software, cloud, or infrastructure systems.
• Deep expertise with AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, and EKS.
• Strong knowledge of DNS, load balancing, and network security.
• Able to communicate complex architecture to technical and executive audiences.

Responsibilities

• Define architecture for MuleSoft infrastructure and platform services across cloud, Kubernetes, and data stores.
• Lead architecture reviews with engineering, product, security, and SRE teams.
• Modernize legacy infra for high availability, disaster recovery, and reduced blast radius.
• Identify bottlenecks and produce architecture docs and standards for scalable decisions.
