Overview

Pomeroy is expanding and seeking senior talent for 2026 to close enterprise level managed services deals. The Senior Solution Architect partners with Sales, Service Delivery, Subcontractor Partner, Finance, and Portfolio teams to grow business by crafting solutions that align with each opportunity’s win strategy. A Sales‑focused mindset is required.

Responsibilities

• Assessing the viability of new opportunities
• Meeting with prospects and clients to confirm technical and financial requirements
• Assembling solutions that meet those requirements
• Contributing to solution‑related written proposal content
• Leading costing and pricing of services
• Collaborating and coordinating with Service Delivery, IT, HR, and Finance stakeholders
• Working with service delivery partners (sub‑contractors) to receive quotes
• Creating and overseeing the development of effective presentation material and presenting to technical and executive client audiences
• Writing and negotiating Statements of Work

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Strong background in IT services, including industry best practices domestically and globally, typical operational metrics, SLAs and SLA methodologies
• Domain expertise: Managed NOC Services, Managed SOC Services, Cloud Management Services, ITIL, AI Ops, Service Desk, Field Dispatch support, Dedicated on‑site support, Depot support, PC engineering and vulnerability management, Asset Lifecycle management, User experience management, Persona, Innovation, Continual Service Improvement, Governance

Historical Experience

• Successful IT managerial roles and/or solutioning roles
• Experience managing or contributing to large‑scale strategic services pursuits
• Experience writing and negotiating Statements of Work
• Excellent writing, presentation and communication skills
• Excellent quantitative and financial skills
• Broad and deep understanding of business and service management technologies

Physical and Mental Demands

Employees are frequently required to sit, talk, listen, use hands, and operate standard office equipment. Candidates should be able to occasionally travel to client sites for key meetings.

Employees must use written and oral communication skills, interpret data, analyze and solve problems, use math, learn new skills, perform detailed work on multiple tasks, and interact with Pomeroy employees, Clients, and Vendors in a fast‑paced environment.
