Job summary

Zevra Therapeutics seeks a Medical Science Liaison (MSL) or Senior MSL to join our U.S. Medical Affairs organization and support the Central U.S.

territory. The Senior MSL will serve as a field-based scientific and clinical expert, developing trusted relationships with HCPs, researchers, and KOLs, and advancing understanding of Zevra's rare disease portfolio through evidence generation, medical education, and strategic insights.

Qualifications

• MD, PhD, PharmD, DNP, or equivalent degree preferred.
• 5+ years of MSL or related field-based Medical Affairs experience.
• Rare disease experience preferred (lysosomal/metabolic/rare neurological disorders).
• Ability to build credibility with KOLs, HCPs, researchers, and other stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted scientific resource to KOLs, HCPs, researchers, and healthcare stakeholders in the Central U.S. territory.
• Develop and maintain strategic relationships to support scientific exchange and collaboration.
• Conduct peer-to-peer scientific discussions with balanced, evidence-based information.
• Maintain knowledge of disease states, treatment landscapes, and Zevra's portfolio.
• Communicate scientific developments across the Medical Affairs organization.
• Capture and communicate meaningful medical insights from the field.
• Document interactions accurately in Veeva CRM.
• Support Medical Affairs projects and field initiatives aligned with US strategy.
• Engage investigators in discussions on research opportunities and trials.
• Represent Zevra at scientific congresses and advisory boards.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Medical Affairs, Clinical Development, and Commercial teams.
