Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison for Obesity and Related Conditions covering UT/NV. The role acts as the primary scientific resource to OLs and PHDMs, aligning with MSL leadership to advance medical strategy and deliver balanced data to healthcare professionals.

The position focuses on engaging investigators, supporting sponsored and non-sponsored research, and communicating clinical value to improve patient outcomes in obesity-related conditions.

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree & 2 years of Medical Affairs experience.
• Master’s degree & 6 years of Medical Affairs experience.
• Bachelor’s degree & 8 years of Medical Affairs experience.

Responsibilities

• Act as primary scientific/clinical resource to Opinion Leaders (OLs) and Population Health Decision Makers (PHDMs).
• Execute Amgen Medical function and product strategy as led by MSL Leadership.
• Provide accurate scientific information to OLs and healthcare providers to improve patient outcomes.
• Engage with investigators and IDNs to communicate data and support the obesity pipeline.
• Lead and participate in congress activities and speaker trainings as needed.
