Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Senior Medical Science Liaison for Obesity and Related Conditions in the Newark, NJ area. The role focuses on delivering scientific data to Opinion Leaders, PHDMs and healthcare providers, and advancing Amgen’s product strategy within the obesity pipeline.

The Senior MSL will work within the U.S. Medical team reporting to MSL Leadership, engaging investigators, sites, and institutions to communicate data, support sponsored research, and drive medical education while ensuring

Qualifications

• Doctorate degree and 2 years of Medical Affairs experience required.
• Master’s degree and 6 years of Medical Affairs experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of Medical Affairs experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Act as the primary scientific/clinical resource to OLs, PHDMs and other healthcare providers to improve patient outcomes.
• Manage field-based scientific exchange to provide balanced clinical data.
• Lead and participate in congress activities and sponsor research as needed.
• Mentor other MSLs and support internal strategy development.
